AffiPop is a browser extension designed for affiliate marketers using the Impact.com platform. We take your privacy seriously and operate under a Privacy-by-Design principle.
2. Data Collection & Permissions
AffiPop does not collect, store, or sell any personal data on its own servers.
Browsing Data: The extension uses the "tabs" permission only to detect if the current website belongs to an Impact.com partner brand. We do not track, record, or transmit your browsing history.
Local Storage: Your Impact Account SID, Auth Token, and link history are stored locally in your browser. We never have access to this information.
3. External API Communication
To function, the extension communicates with:
Impact.com API: To sync partner brands and generate affiliate links.
ExtensionPay (Stripe): To manage Pro subscriptions. Payment processing is handled securely via Stripe. AffiPop never sees or stores your credit card details or financial information.
QRServer API: To generate QR codes for Pro users. No user-identifiable data is sent during this process.
4. Security
All communications with external APIs are performed via encrypted HTTPS connections. Your API credentials never leave your machine except to authenticate requests with Impact.com.
5. Pro Subscriptions & Payments
AffiPop Pro is powered by ExtensionPay. By upgrading to Pro, you agree to their terms of service. Your email address may be used solely for subscription management and important service updates regarding your account.
